Atletico Madrid have won the Europa League final with a convincing 3-0 against Olympic Marseille.
The final, which was played in Lyon gave Marseille the opportunity to play under familiar atmosphere but that counted for nothing as Antonio Griezmann and company ran riot to victory.
The signs looked bad for Marseille when placement, Payet, was substituted before 30 minutes of play and the teary Payet knows it is almost goodbye to the World Cup.
Frenchman, Griezmann made it two goals in the first half before Gabi sealed it for the Spanish giants about five minutes to regulation time.
Marseille also had their chances, but their huge possession counted for nothing. They were however somewhat unlucky in front of goal about 15 minutes to end of play, but Atletico, who played without a coach, as Diego Simeone was made to watch from the side, never looked like losing.
