On second attempt, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has finally picked a candidate for the July gubernatorial election.
Following a fracas last Saturday which led to cancellation of the voting process, Minister of Steel, Dr Kayode Fayemi, emerged as the party’s choice and will be up against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate and Gov Ayodele Fayose, Prof Kolapo Eleka.
Former governor, Segun Oni, was first runners-up in the election that saw over 2,000 voters.
