LEGO is expanding its sports portfolio with a new football-themed collaboration ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The Danish toymaker has partnered with Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to launch a new set of products tied to the global tournament.
The collection includes seven sets. These feature smaller, player-themed builds and larger display models, including special editions for Messi and Ronaldo. Messi also gets a premium 3D wall art set based on his iconic celebration.
“Similar to football, LEGO play is all about building and rebuilding, trying new things, learning from mistakes and celebrating successes,” Messi said. “I love how these LEGO sets bring my pitch moments to life in a fun and imaginative way.”

Vinicius Jr., who plays for Real Madrid, said the project promotes creativity and inclusion.
“It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what language you speak, people connect through creativity and that’s really powerful,” he said.
The expansion is part of LEGO’s wider push into football ahead of 2026. The company has also launched a World Cup trophy set and plans more fan-focused activities around the tournament.
The campaign brings all four players together in a promotional video, building early excitement for the World Cup.
