Guinness World Records (GWR) has distanced itself from a controversial record attempt announced by Nigerian content creator Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, popularly known as Mandy Kiss.
Mandy Kiss had declared via Instagram on Monday that she planned to engage with 100 men within 24 hours on October 30 in Ikorodu, Lagos. A promotional flier circulated online even carried the GWR logo, suggesting official involvement.
However, Guinness World Records clarified on Tuesday that it does not monitor such activities. In a brief statement posted on its official X handle, the organisation stated: “This is not a record we monitor.”
The announcement has stirred heated reactions across social media, with many Nigerians expressing shock over the planned stunt.
