A claim circulating on X alleges that ChubbieDivah has been sentenced to seven years in prison for accusing singer Rudeboy of rape.
The rumour relates to a 2025 controversy in which ChubbieDivah accused Rudeboy of rape and other offences involving his househelp. Rudeboy denied the allegations.
The dispute later reportedly moved to court in Lagos, with cases linked to defamation, cyberstalking and publication of false information.
As of late 2025, there has been no official statement confirming a conviction or prison sentence.
The latest claim began trending after an X post by user @ykbprst, which drew hundreds of thousands of views.
The post read:
“JUST IN: ChubbieDivah, the woman who falsely accused Rudeboy of rape, has been sentenced to 7 years in prison this morning. This should serve as a lesson to all false accusers out there.”
The post sparked mixed reactions.

Some users supported the alleged sentence, describing it as a strong warning against making unproven accusations online.
Others questioned the severity of the reported punishment.
One user, @wealth_prettyy, wrote:
“7 years is too much for real. 6 months would’ve been okay.”
Another user, @boutmoneey12, said:

However, some commenters backed the claim. User @sepril23NG posted:
