Senior Pastor Emmanuel Iren has sparked fresh debate on social media after sharing his views on love, loyalty and priorities in marriage.
Speaking during a church service, the cleric advised men to pay attention to how their partners treat and prioritise them, noting that such actions often reveal the true state of a relationship.
“Watch how your woman prioritizes you, that shows how much she truly loves you,” he said.
Pastor Iren also cautioned women about the messages they send through their behaviour and the boundaries they set in relationships.
“Let me say it to you, there is how men can look at you and they know you are vulnerable,” he stated.

Addressing Christian women directly, the pastor stressed that no religious leader should take precedence over a husband in marriage.
“Let me say this to you Christian ladies, even your pastor is not permitted to be number one in your life,” he added.
He further questioned why some married women choose to display pictures of their pastors on social media instead of their spouses, warning that such actions could cause unnecessary tension at home.
“Some women are the reason some men don’t like pastors. Tell me, as a woman, why would you put a pastor’s picture on your profile when you have a husband?” he asked.
