VIDEO: ‘Tinubu where are you’, American missionary cries out over Jos attack

An American humanitarian, Alex Barbir, has condemned President Bola Tinubu following a deadly attack in Jos, Plateau State, which claimed several lives on Palm Sunday.

Barbir, a Florida-based missionary and leader of Building Zion, made his position known in a video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), expressing outrage over the killing of residents he described as “innocent Christians.”

Speaking from Plateau State, he decried what he termed the continued persecution of Christians in parts of Nigeria.

“They just murdered over 10 people. Innocent Christians on Palm Sunday. Tinubu, where are you as your people are slaughtered in the night?” he said.

He accused the Federal Government of repeated inaction, alleging that such attacks persist due to a lack of decisive response from authorities.

“As you sit in Aso Rock and you do absolutely nothing. You allow your people to be killed again and again and again and again,” he said.

“When will it stop? When will you hear the cries of Nigerians, of Christians? You can no longer deny genocide. They are being slaughtered, and you said there is no issue,” he added.

The criticism followed Sunday night’s attack on Anguwan Rukuba in Jos North, where gunmen reportedly dressed in military uniforms opened fire on residents.

No fewer than 12 people were confirmed dead, while several others sustained injuries.
