The Lagos State Government has announced that its central CCTV surveillance room is now fully operational, marking a major step towards strengthening security across the state.

According to officials, the cameras motorists and pedestrians see on Lagos roads are not decorative but actively transmitting live footage to the command centre.
Residents and drivers have been urged to remain law-abiding, drive carefully, and stay alert as security operatives will now have real-time monitoring of activities across the city.
