VIDEO: I’m more famous than Donald Trump — Cristiano Ronaldo

Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has sparked a fresh wave of reactions after boldly declaring that he is the most famous person in the world,  even more than U.S. President Donald Trump.

In a new teaser released by British broadcaster Piers Morgan, Ronaldo confidently stated, “Do a debate, who is more famous, me or Trump? Worldwide, nobody is more famous than me.”

The short clip, which previews the second part of Ronaldo’s interview with Morgan, has gone viral, igniting conversations among fans worldwide.

Ronaldo, who currently plays for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, also reiterated his ambition to lead Portugal to World Cup victory, saying such a triumph would be historic.

“How many World Cups did Argentina win before [Lionel] Messi? They’re used to winning. If Portugal wins, which is possible, it will shock the world,” he said.

At 40, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner remains one of football’s most recognizable figures, continuing to dominate headlines both on and off the pitch. He recently extended his contract with Al-Nassr until 2027, fueling speculation that he may aim for one last World Cup appearance — and chase his dream of reaching 1,000 career goals.

As his playing career nears its final stages, discussions about his next move have intensified. Former Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham, however, believes coaching is unlikely for Ronaldo.

“I can’t see Cristiano Ronaldo going into management after he retires. He’s far more likely to own a club rather than manage one, like what David Beckham has done at Inter Miami,” Sheringham told Oddspedia.

“There are bigger and better things than being a manager for Ronaldo. He’s someone who wants to take on the world, and ownership gives him full control,” he added.
