VIDEO: Brake failure kills 4 in Oshodi as bus somersaults

No fewer than four persons were killed on Friday evening after a wine-coloured Chevrolet commercial bus reportedly suffered brake failure and somersaulted off a ramp bridge in Oshodi, Lagos.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) disclosed the incident in a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday.

According to LASTMA, the bus lost control after its brakes failed, causing it to overturn while descending the ramp bridge. The crash resulted in four fatalities, while two other victims sustained severe injuries and were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
