Trump posts messages from Macron questioning Greenland move

United States President Donald Trump has posted screenshots of private messages from French President Emmanuel Macron in which Macron questioned Trump’s stance on Greenland and proposed holding a G7 meeting in Paris.

In a post on Trump’s Truth Social account, Macron is shown suggesting he could arrange a G7 meeting in Paris on Thursday afternoon and expressing confusion over what Trump was “doing on Greenland,” according to a screenshot Trump said came from the French president.

Macron also proposed inviting Ukrainian, Danish, Syrian and Russian representatives to take part on the sidelines of the meeting and extended an invitation for Trump to join him for dinner in Paris on Thursday.
