Snake reportedly found under ambulance carrying late singer Ifunanya Nanyah’s remains

London-based teacher and culture ambassador, Uche Nworah, has shared details of a strange incident that allegedly occurred while the remains of late singer Ifunanya Nwangene, popularly known as Nanyah, were being transported from Abuja to Enugu for burial.

Nworah said the account was relayed to him during a phone conversation with Ifunanya’s uncle, whom he claims to have been Facebook friends with for several years.

According to him, the incident happened when the ambulance conveying the singer’s body broke down along the Abuja Expressway, necessitating a delay while a replacement vehicle was arranged.

He further disclosed that while the family waited for another ambulance to continue the journey, a snake was reportedly discovered beneath the broken-down vehicle and was later killed.

In addition, Nworah sought to clarify what he described as misinformation circulating on social media about the late singer’s residence. Contrary to claims that Ifunanya lived on the ground floor of her Abuja apartment, he stated that she resided on the second floor.

He noted that this detail raises questions about earlier narratives suggesting that snakes may have accessed her apartment through drains or toilets, an explanation he argued would more easily apply to a ground-floor residence.

Sharing the account on Facebook, Nworah stressed that the disclosures were based solely on what was narrated to him by Ifunanya’s uncle.

He added that while the incidents may be coincidental and unrelated, they have nonetheless sparked public discussion and reflection surrounding the circumstances of the late singer’s death and the events that followed.
