Popular singer Paul Okoye, better known by his stage as Rudeboy, has said that his fight with his twin brother Peter and the breakup of their band PSquare—which they later reformed—were caused by the devil.
In a recent interview with Paul Okoye, a red carpet host, Rudeboy said that the devil was to blame for their breakup.
When the anchor asked what led to their separation for six years, Paul Okoye responded saying, “it’s the devil.”
During an interview with media personality Joey Akan published on June 27, Paul stated that the rift between him and his twin brother Peter was caused by family issues and not music.

Rudeboy stated that despite the anger from fans following the split, he kept mute and did not say anything because he knew that the issue was family related.
He said, “I kept silent. I never said anything. I never said anything, because I knew what the problem was. It was a family issue, and it turned out that P-Square had to pay for it. P-Square was just the sacrifice.”
Rudeboy added that due to his love for his family, he does not owe anybody an explanation.
Peter went solo after years of fighting Paul and Jude Okoye over the management of P-Square.
The duo reconciled in November 2021 after following each other back on Instagram.
They dropped their first two singles after reconciliation on July 22, 2022.
