Rick Ross dream music collaboration

Rick Ross reveals dream collaboration with Bob Marley, Fela, Burna Boy

American rapper Rick Ross has revealed his ultimate dream music collaboration, naming legendary artistes Bob Marley, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy as the musicians he would most love to work with.

The Maybach Music boss made the disclosure during a recent livestream interview, where he spoke about the kind of record he believes would be truly historic.

According to the rapper, bringing together such iconic figures from reggae, Afrobeat and Afrobeats would make a powerful and unforgettable dream music collaboration.

“If I had a dream collaboration right now, it would be Rick Ross, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti and Burna Boy. Imagine such a record. To me, that’s king-level. That’s next level,” he said.

Ross also expressed admiration for Nigerian-British singer Sade, saying he would love to feature her on the project if the opportunity ever arises.

The rapper admitted, however, that convincing the iconic singer to join the record might be difficult, even though she remains high on his wish list.

“I am the boss but I don’t know if I could get Sade to collaborate with me. I will put that on the wish list. I love Sade. Salute queen,” he added.

Music fans have since reacted to the idea online, with many describing the proposed lineup as a legendary dream music collaboration that would unite different generations and styles of global music.
