He was reportedly re-arrested by operatives led by CSP Ilyasu Barau, Officer in Charge of Anti-Vice under the DC-CID, FCT Command, while his lawyers were in the process of perfecting his bail conditions at the Kuje Magistrate Court in Abuja.
Sowore was released alongside Aloy Ejimakor, a member of Nnamdi Kanu’s legal team; Prince Kanu, the IPOB leader’s brother; and ten other protesters.
According to reports, they were discharged after fulfilling their bail requirements, which included a ₦500,000 bond each and two sureties in like sum.
The group had earlier been arrested for allegedly violating court orders that restricted the #FreeNnamdiKanu demonstrations from taking place on specific routes, especially those leading to the seat of power in the Federal Capital Territory.
