Ratel app: Feud with VeryDarkMan was staged – Blord

Popular businessman BLord has disclosed that the Ratel app feud with social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) was not genuine but deliberately staged as part of a publicity strategy.

The revelation about the Ratel app feud has since sparked widespread reactions online, especially as many followers had believed the clash was real.

In a post shared on his official Facebook page on January 22, 2025, BLord confirmed that the online drama surrounding the Ratel app feud was carefully planned to generate buzz and attract public attention to the platform.

The feud, which dominated conversations across social media, featured heated exchanges and claims over the trademark ownership of the Ratel name, leaving many Nigerians speculating about what truly transpired between the two personalities.

However, BLord clarified that the entire Ratel app feud was a calculated marketing move aimed at driving interest and increasing downloads of the app.

According to him, the disagreement was intentionally orchestrated to spark curiosity and conversation, adding that the collaboration between himself and VeryDarkMan extended beyond the app promotion.

He further revealed that the Blunt Gadget Rally was also jointly planned to draw attention and disrupt competitor strategies.

Explaining the arrangement, BLord wrote:

The disclosure has shocked many netizens, as the clash had appeared authentic to most observers.
