In celebrating the 57th independence anniversary of the country, the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to lead other top government officials on 400 hours non-stop praise to God.
It was learnt that the event is towards marking the exit of Nigeria from recession and to thank God for the safe return of President Muhammadu Buhari from his medical vacation.
The programme is being organized under the leadership of Chaplain of Aso Villa Chapel, Pastor Oluseyi Malomo, in collaboration with Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship and other churches in the country under the aegis of “Haleluyah Nigeria.”
Pastor Malomo said the session, which would commence on Thursday, will arguably be the longest non musical activity in the world.”
Responding to a question on the level of participation in the programme by government, he said it was not unlikely that even though Buhari is not a Christian, he may show up at the event.
He however said the programme would similarly seek God’s help for the administration and the country to overcome the economic problem in the country.
