The Acting Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Science and Technology and his family were burnt to death in a fire outbreak that razed their house at Quararafa Quarters, Makurdi in the early hours of today November 18th.
According to Facebook user Ukan Kurugh who shared the sad news online, the fire became uncontrollable at 3am, destroying properties worth millions of naira and claimed the lives of the man, his pregnant wife and two children.

The cause of the fire is however yet unknown as at the time of filing this report.
