“Big News in the Religious Circle!”
Pastor Adeboye bags new appointment
Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG, has just been appointed as the Patron of ESBAASC – a group of Christian leaders working together to promote unity and religious tolerance.
As we have the announcement made at their international conference, where they discussed the importance of getting along with each other, despite their differences.
The conference, held at the RCCG Redemption Camp, was all about religious tolerance – what it means, why it’s important, and how to achieve it. And who better to lead the charge than Pastor Adeboye, who’s all about spreading love and unity?
“It’s a new dawn for religious tolerance in Nigeria, and we’re here for it!” – Archbishop Prof. Kehinde Olubunmi
In his acceptance speech (delivered by Pastor Joseph Obayemi, since Pastor Adeboye couldn’t make it), he shared some wise words. He talked about how, back in the day, he used to celebrate Ramadan with his Muslim friends and live in harmony with people of different religions. He said religious tolerance is all about understanding, peaceful coexistence, and unity – and that we should all prioritize love and life over violence and division.
“Pastor Adeboye’s appointment is a testament to his tireless efforts in promoting unity and love. We’re honored to have him on board!” – Archbishop Prof. Mary Ajisafe
So, what does this mean? Well, with Pastor Adeboye on board, ESBAASC is likely to make even more waves in the religious community, promoting unity and tolerance across different denominations. And who knows, maybe one day we’ll all be holding hands and singing Kumbaya!
“Religious tolerance is the way forward. Let’s work together to make Nigeria a beacon of peace and harmony!” – Pastor Joseph Obayemi (representing Pastor Adeboye)
The appointment is seen as a significant step towards fostering greater unity and cooperation among Christian leaders in Nigeria, and beyond. With Pastor Adeboye’s guidance, ESBAASC is poised to make a real difference in promoting religious tolerance and understanding.”
