Veteran Nollywood actor, Yemi Solade, says no actress in the industry can claim to have bought a G-Wagon solely from acting.
Speaking on The Honest Bunch podcast, Solade explained that while producing movies might fetch enough money to buy such a luxury car, acting alone does not pay that much.
“No actress will say the G-Wagon she has, she bought with the money from acting. It’s possible from producing but from acting, how much do they want to pay you, 50M?” he said.
The actor added that actresses may have other sources of income or receive the cars as gifts.

Yemi Solade continued, “They may have side hustle, I don’t know those hustles. Then again, some are gifts, I want to believe so. Yes now, dem fit gift person G-Wagon.
When asked why male actors in the industry are not seen receiving such gifts, Solade responded humorously:
“Those gifters maybe we should go on a voyage to seek them out,” he added.
