Residents and businesses in the Lekki District will experience a temporary electricity disruption as part of ongoing efforts to improve power infrastructure in the area.
The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) announced that the Lekki three days power outage will take place between March 13 and March 15, 2026, as engineers carry out network upgrade works at the Lekki Injection Substation.
According to the company, the outage will occur daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the scheduled period. The upgrade is aimed at improving operational flexibility, enhancing power evacuation, and ensuring better electricity service delivery to customers across the district.

EKEDC stated that the Lekki three days power interruption will affect all areas within the Lekki District, with the exception of Zone 10.
The electricity distribution company apologised for the inconvenience the temporary disruption may cause and urged customers to bear with the situation as the upgrade is necessary to strengthen the network.
The company added that the Lekki three days power outage is part of broader infrastructure improvements designed to enhance the reliability and stability of electricity supply in the area.
