The founder of the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), Dr Gani Adams, is set to become the 15th Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, which makes him the Supreme Generalissimo of the South West army.
The Alaafin of Oyo will today (Saturday) empower Dr Adams in that might, a position last occupied by Africa’s pillar of sport and Nigeria’s philanthropist, Dr M. K. O. Abiola.
