Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has issued a stern warning to the Clerk of the National Assembly (NASS), Kamorudeen Ogunlana, saying she would sue him if her resumption is stopped.
She said if any attempt is made to stop her from returning to the Senate by Monday, September 15, 2025, she will take legal action.
Her lawyer, Michael Numa (SAN), made it clear in a letter dated September 10.
“Take notice that failure to comply by Monday, 15th September 2025, will leave us with no alternative but to initiate proceedings against you personally and in your official capacity,” the letter read.

Numa accused the CNA of ignoring a valid court judgment, calling it a breach of the law and the Code of Conduct for Public Officers.
He warned that the legal steps could include contempt charges and disciplinary measures.
“We strongly advise that you reconsider your untenable stance and comply with the Constitution and extant judicial orders,” the letter further stated.
StreetNetNGR recalls that Acting Clerk, Yahaya Danzaria, had earlier told Natasha she could not resume since her suspension case was still pending at the Court of Appeal.
