Through his online gaming company, betPawa, Nigerian artist Mr. Eazi has invested a stunning $6 million in the Ghana Premier League as the official headline sponsor for three years.
On his official Twitter profile, Mr. Eazi informed his more than 2.9 million followers about the agreement. “Happy that my business has been chosen as the new sponsor of the Ghana Premier League. He tweeted with the hashtag “#ProudCeo”
At a formal signing ceremony in Accra prior to the 2022–23 league’s scheduled start on September 2, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) also recognised Mr. Eazi’s betPawa’s sponsorship.
According to GFA, the relationship with betPawa will be centered on “properly marketing and positioning the premier league to become one of the most successful and attractive on the continent.”

“The company’s high appetite for growing and harnessing talents, creating opportunities, and rewarding fans across its markets are a few of the many reasons for partnering with the GFA,” Mr Eazi disclosed.
In order to provide clients with a variety of payment options, betPawa signed an agreement in June with MTN Rwanda’s Fintech subsidiary Mobile Money Rwanda.
The emPawa Africa incubation program and the venture capital firm Zagadat Capital are also included in Mr. Eazi’s extensive portfolio of investments.
As of Saturday morning, August 6, 2022, $6 million is equal to 2,493,060,000 Naira.
