Suspected Internet fraudster, Ismaila Mustapha, aka Mompha, has pleaded not guilty to the N33 billion money laundering and Internet crime charges filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Mompha was arraigned before Justice Mohammed Liman of the Federal High Court.

Following his ”Not guilty” plead, the presiding judge ordered that he be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the case till Friday November 29th for hearing of his bail application and commencement of trial.
Recall that EFCC charged him with 14 counts bordering on cyber fraud and money laundering. He was arrested in Abuja on October 18th.
