Marvel Studios has unveiled the official trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, confirming the film will hit cinemas on July 31, 2026.
The trailer shows Tom Holland returning as Peter Parker after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Now living in secrecy, Peter continues protecting New York City while adjusting to a life where no one knows who he is.
The tone is darker this time. The footage highlights Peter’s isolation and the pressure of being Spider-Man without support.
There are also brief looks at Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner and Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal. Michael Mando returns as Scorpion, hinting at multiple threats.
Zendaya is also set to return as MJ, despite her character no longer remembering Peter. The casting update comes just weeks after her stylist revealed that she and Holland have officially tied the knot, adding fresh attention to the pair both on and off screen.
A new body-swapping villain is teased, alongside signs that Peter’s powers are changing in unusual ways.
“Let’s do this together. No one can do it alone, not even Spider-Man,” Holland says in the trailer.
Marvel has not revealed the role of Sadie Sink, keeping fans guessing.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film aims for a more grounded and emotional story. Sony executive Tom Rothman said the director has “done a tremendous job.”
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to open a new chapter for the character when it arrives in July 2026.
