A man has reportedly walked out of his marriage after his wife took in her late sister’s six children, a decision that caused ongoing disagreements between the couple.
The story, shared on X (formerly Twitter), said the woman’s elder sister passed away, leaving behind six daughters aged between six and 20. After attending the burial, the woman returned home with all six children, despite the fact that she and her husband do not yet have children.
According to the post, the arrangement did not sit well with the husband. Although he did not openly object at first, the presence of the children soon led to repeated arguments in the home.
“Although they don’t have kids yet, but bringing six kids into your house, hmmm,” the woman wrote, pointing to her husband’s concerns.

The post further claimed that the situation later escalated, with the man leaving the house. “He just woke up one day and left,” it stated. He was said to have told his wife that he would not return unless the children were sent back to their father, adding that he did not plan to remarry.
When asked by his wife how he would have felt if the children were his, he reportedly replied that he never wanted six children.
The story has since drawn mixed reactions online, with many X users urging couples to communicate better and find common ground when family responsibilities affect a marriage.
