London: Pastor loose guard, loses iPhone 16 Pro Max during live streaming

What was meant to be a peaceful online prayer session turned into a shocking scene after Ghanaian preacher, Pastor Isaac Anderson, was robbed live on Facebook in London.

The incident happened around 6:30 a.m. on Hoe Street, Walthamstow, while the pastor was streaming. Two masked men on bicycles suddenly approached him. Focused on his message, he didn’t notice the danger until one of them snatched his iPhone 16 Pro Max right out of his hand.

Unaware that the phone was still recording, the robbers were heard in the live video saying:

“Hey JP, he’s on TikTok… No fam. How do I end it? It’s on Facebook.”

One of them quickly tried to cover his face before the stream ended.

Speaking later, Pastor Anderson described the moment as shocking:

“All of the sudden, someone from behind on a bike just came and snatched my phone… It’s not easy. All my information was on it.”

He went on to advise people to always be alert and protect their belongings, adding that London has become unsafe with thieves everywhere.

This incident comes amid a rise in phone thefts in London, with reports showing more than 70,000 mobile phones stolen in 2024 alone.
