A Nigerian lady has recounted how a food giveaway she organised in Lagos turned chaotic, after a crowd reportedly rushed her vehicle and forced her to flee for safety.
The incident, captured in a 58-second video now circulating online, showed the woman sharing food provisions from the back of her car on a busy Lagos street believed to be under a flyover.
At the start of the clip, she instructed people to form a straight line, and the process initially appeared orderly. However, the situation quickly escalated as the crowd began pushing forward, pressing against the vehicle and disrupting the queue.
As the tension grew, the woman was seen stepping away from the crowd while people moved closer to the car and began collecting the items themselves.
She later reposted the video with a caption that read: “I want people to learn from my mistake,” suggesting the experience served as a warning to others who may want to carry out similar street giveaways.
The video has since sparked reactions on X, with many users pointing to the need for proper planning and security.
