Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Saturday’s Kogi West Senatorial election, Mr Dino Melaye, says his nephew who was allegedly shot at a polling unit on Saturday, has died.
Melaye said the man, Olorunjuwon, died on Sunday morning.

Taking to his Twitter handle @dino_melaye on Sunday, Melaye had tweeted:”My nephew Olorunjuwon who was shot at my polling unit yesterday died this morning. My brother your death is a Supreme sacrifice in the struggle for the liberation of our people. Rest in peace aburo… So sad,” Melaye mourned.
