King Mitchy reportedly dies following online clash with Verydarkman

Popular Nigerian content creator and philanthropist Mukoro Michelle, known as King Mitchy, has reportedly died.

The news was shared in the early hours of February 28, 2026, on her official Instagram page by her management.

It would be recalled that her dispute with VeryDarkMan began after King Mitchy urged him to begin using NGO funds donated by Nigerians for development projects.

The situation soon escalated, with both sides trading accusations online. VeryDarkMan accused Mitchy of inappropriate conduct involving Seyi Tinubu and also criticised her over a remark he described as disrespectful toward the Ooni of Ife.

During the exchange, King Mitchy was seen in a TikTok video drinking what appeared to be a sachet of Hypo, reportedly in an attempt to end her life over the dispute. The video left many viewers alarmed and concerned.

In a later update, her management said she had been rushed to a hospital after consuming the substance. Her condition was described as critical, with her survival chances put at 50/50.

They subsequently confirmed that she had died. According to the statement, her mother reportedly fainted after receiving the news.

The management wrote, “We are deeply heartbroken to share that our beloved Michelle has passed on.
