Kai Cenat teases exit from streaming, unveils new clothing line

Kai Cenat teased a possible exit from streaming while unveiling his new clothing brand, Vivet, in a 23-minute YouTube video titled “I Quit” on Tuesday (Jan. 13).

“I feel like sometimes, people need to self-reflect and take a step back from the broad perspective of what their life has been,” Cenat said. “The energy and passion to want to do more and create is within me. That’s why I quit.”

He also reflected on being known for only one thing. “Thinking in my head of the goals I want to achieve and not achieving them because I’m only known for one thing,” he said.

Cenat shared other personal resolutions: “I quit overthinking… I want to push limits to see what I can truly create in life.”

He spoke with his mother about his mindset, adding, “I’m not depressed, I’m not sad, I’m just having a lot of self-doubt.”

Cenat traveled to Italy to show the creation of Vivet, giving fans a look at designing and sewing denim. Some content is also on his “secret” YouTube channel, Kai’s Mind.

On social media, he has spoken about mental health, saying, “I’m not sad, I’m not depressed, but I need to bring awareness to mental health.”

He also admitted streaming had affected his personal life. “I needed to take a step back and fully reset. I wasn’t spending time with close friends and family as much as I wanted to.”
