Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday ordered Nnamdi Kanu of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) out of the courtroom after he became unruly during proceedings.
Earlier, the court had dismissed three fresh motions filed by Kanu after the matter had already been adjourned for judgment, ruling that the applications lacked merit. As Justice Omotosho prepared to deliver the ruling scheduled for the day, Kanu objected, insisting the court could not proceed because he had not filed his final written address.
He raised his voice and accused the judge of being biased, adding that the judge “did not know the law.”
Following the disruption, Kanu was taken out of the courtroom while Justice Omotosho prepared to deliver the final judgment.
