Nollywood actress Ivie Okujaye has expressed deep admiration for her mother-in-law, revealing how the older woman consistently supports her in her marriage.
In a video shared on Instagram, Ivie disclosed that her husband’s mother often steps in whenever there is tension in their home.
“Every time me and my husband have an argument, I always win. Do you know why? As soon as my mother-in-law senses any tension, she will call him and say, ‘My son, your wife’s happiness is the home’s happiness. Please, please, please,’” she said.

The actress further recalled how her mother-in-law stood by her even before marriage.
“When I was getting married, I couldn’t cook. She said, ‘Don’t worry.’ Every week, she brings afang soup, efo riro. Anything I need, this woman is there. She tells me, ‘All this exercise you’re doing, you’re looking fine. Look at your belly, look at your legs. Dress up, let my son remember he married a fine woman,’” Ivie narrated.
Describing her with heartfelt words, the actress hailed her as “the best mother-in-law ever.”
