Iran fires back at Trump over threats, says response will come without any consideration

Iran has issued a strong warning to the United States following recent threats from President Donald Trump, declaring that it will no longer exercise restraint in its response.

In a statement released by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the country signalled a shift in its stance, stating that any further action would be carried out without consideration and could disrupt oil and gas supplies involving the United States and its allies for an extended period.

The IRGC also warned that any move by US forces perceived as crossing its defined red lines would trigger a response extending beyond the Middle East region.

The development comes amid escalating tensions after Trump warned that Iran could face overwhelming military action within hours if it failed to meet a deadline set by Washington.

In a message shared on Tuesday via Truth Social, the US president described the situation as a critical moment with far-reaching global consequences, suggesting that Iran was at risk of severe destruction. He indicated that although such an outcome would be undesirable, it remained a possibility, while also hinting that a change in leadership in Tehran could alter the country’s trajectory.

The warning followed earlier remarks in which Trump stated that Iran risked being completely wiped out in a single night if it refused to agree to a ceasefire deal.

He maintained that Tehran must comply with US demands or face intensified attacks targeting key infrastructure across the country, while also outlining conditions for any agreement, including abandoning its nuclear ambitions and reopening the Strait of Hormuz, a major global oil transit route.
