According to Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti, he received preferential treatment from his siblings because of his father, the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
Kuti talked about how he was pampered as a child in an interview with the Zero Conditions podcast.
He insisted that despite his brothers’ criticism that he is “a terrible dad,” he was his dad’s favorite and that he was an incredible father to him.
The musician boasted that he had never done laundry in his life because he was pampered since he was a young child.

“You don’t know how spoilt I was growing up. Till now, I have never done laundry in my life. I don’t know how to wash anything. I’m not bragging.”
