According to news.com.au, the flight landed at the Khartoum airport in Sudan and was safely resumed after a security check of all passengers and the aircraft.
It’s not clear whether the passenger responsible for the name was able to be identified by authorities.
Frustratingly, this isn’t the first time a prank like this has been played, Mirror said.
Back in May a flight from Cancun to London Gatwick was cancelled after a passenger on board noticed a WiFi hotspot called “Jihadist Cell London 1” and told staff.
A Quantas flight was delayed for two hours minutes before takeoff last year after the authorities were alerted to a network called “Mobile Detonation Device.”
