Owing to the increasing loss of confidence in the cumbersome nature government hospitals run, Director-General, Bureau of Public Service Reforms, The Presidency, Nigeria and social media influencer, Dr Joe Abah, has shared a thread on health study, focusing on the ease of seeing a doctor in a government hospital on his Twitter page.
Dr Abah stated that in a bid to unlock fact finding data on why the hospital environment isn’t attractive to patients, a total of 12 hospitals in four states were visited and found common problems: Records management, dirty environment, staff shortage, doctors coming late.
