Halima Abubakar, a well-known Nollywood actress, has apologized to Annie Idibia for including her in her nasty affair involving Apostle Johnson Suleman.
Recall that Halima has allegedly been threatening the cleric she claimed to be her lover.
“Annie Macaulay if I hear, say you collect, I respect you Innocent, but she go collect,” Halima wrote.
However, in an Instagram post on Monday, Halima Abubakar through her manager, tendered an apology to Annie, saying that a story cannot be told without mentioning names.
In her apology note, the actress pointed out that Annie Idibia did not have an affair with the cleric.

“Good morning to you all. You can’t tell a story, without names. No one is here to drag Annie. Halima won’t do it. Halima was a bridesmaid to Annie in Dubai. She left even Annie pissed cos, Halima was crying on the phone. All day it was usually always an issue with him. She has nothing to do with Sule…like sory u will be mentioned…so you will know how long, this has been. She is married, and will stay married,” she wrote.
Suleman is not new to controversy. For several years, he has been facing allegations of sexual involvement with Canada-based singer Stephanie Otobo.
In July 2022, the cleric was in the news again after a blog claimed he had affair with some Nigerian actresses including Halima, Georgina Onuoha, Queen Nwokoye, Shan George, Iyabo Ojo, Angela Okorie, Vivian Metchie and Mercy Johnson.
