Olorogun Emmanuel Bikogha, a well-known chief of the Ughievwen Kingdom, was gunned down in Delta State’s Uvwie Local Government Area.
The victim was fatally shot on August 21, four days after his birthday, at the well-known PTI crossroads in Effurun around 7:10 p.m.

Chief Freeborn Ayoma, the deceased’s fellow palace chief, who told journalists that he had died, claimed that he had been shot by unidentified assailants.
The traditional title of “echihigan” of Ughievwen Kingdom is held by Olorogun Bikogho, a native of Owahwa town.
DSP Bright Edafe, a spokesperson for the State Police Command, acknowledged the death to journalists but withheld any information.
