Gha Allotey Trading and Co ltd, the organisers of Beauty Fashion Design Pageant (BFDP), with the theme “Fashion for Change”, has announced that proceeds from the upcoming Nigerian edition would be channeled towards humanitarian course, in giving scholarship to students whose education stopped due to lack of funds
Speaking to newsmen in Lagos , Vincent Opene, President, Gha Allotey Trading and Co ltd (Nigeria) revealed that the BFDP project is designed to promote the beauty and diversity of African Models and the unique creativity of African designers, giving them a platform in the international fashion industry.
BFDP is unique in itself as it is not the regular catwalk show, rather it is an artistically choreographed fashion show, Music Video, and Play all in one performed in a matter of minutes.
BFDP is a fashion exhibition that would feature variety of top Designers in Africa and the world at large with house hold names like Knaom Designs, House of Bee Couture, Suchi Kumar from Indian, among others on board. The door remains opened for designers who would love to have their works featured.
Recalled that FASHION FOR CHANGE “Aiding one cause at a time with one design at a time” fashion shows was established in Accra Ghana where a percentage of ticket sales were given to a needy cause in Africa, orphanages and Ebola victims at that time.
