The nominations for the 2026 Bafta Film Awards were revealed on Tuesday (27 January) at Bafta’s London headquarters by actors David Jonsson and Aimee Lou Wood, with One Battle After Another, Sinners, Marty Supreme, and Hamnet leading the pack.
One Battle After Another earned the most nominations with 14, followed by Sinners on 13. Both Marty Supreme and Hamnet picked up 11 nods each, while Frankenstein and I Swear received eight and five, respectively.
“This year’s slate shows the incredible breadth of global and British cinema,” a Bafta spokesperson said.
Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another is considered a strong contender for Best Film, while Anderson himself is among the favourites for Best Director. Last year, Edward Berger’s Conclave took home the top prize.
