The winners of the 2026 MOBO Awards have been announced.
The ceremony took place at Co-op Live in Manchester, United Kingdom. It marked the first time the awards were held in the city and also celebrated the MOBOs’ 30th anniversary.
The event recognised major names in Black music and culture across different categories.
Nigerian star Wizkid won Best African Music Act after beating nominees including Davido, Rema, Tiwa Savage and Adekunle Gold.
Ayra Starr also had a big night, winning Best International Act ahead of artists like Cardi B, Gunna and Kehlani.
British-Nigerian media personality Niko Omilana won Best Media Personality.
Olivia Dean was one of the biggest winners of the night. She picked up Best Female Act, Album of the Year for The Art of Loving, and Song of the Year for Man I Need.
Jim Legxacy won Best Male Act, while DC3 was named Best Newcomer.
RAYE won Video of the Year for Where Is My Husband!
Other winners included FLO (Best R&B/Soul Act), Nova Twins (Best Alternative Act), Chip (Best Grime Act), Central Cee (Best Hip-Hop Act), and Twin S (Best Drill Act).

Special awards also went to Pharrell Williams, who received the Global Songwriter Award, and Slick Rick, who was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
