Festive: Tinubu departs Abuja Saturday for Borno, Bauchi, Lagos

President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Saturday for visits to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos states.

In Borno, the President is scheduled to commission projects undertaken by Governor Babagana Zulum in partnership with the federal government.

He will also attend the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Borno Governor Ali Sheriff, and his bride, Hadiza Salem.

From Maiduguri, President Tinubu will travel to Bauchi to offer condolences to the Bauchi State Government and the family of Dahiru Bauchi, the late renowned Muslim cleric and leader of the Tijjaniyya Muslim Brotherhood, who passed away on 27 November.

Following the Bauchi visit, the President will proceed to Lagos to spend the end-of-year holidays. While in the city, he is expected to be the guest of honour at the Eyo Festival, scheduled for 27 December at Tafawa Balewa Square.

The festival will celebrate prominent figures, including President Tinubu’s mother, Abibatu Mogaji, and former Lagos governors Lateef Jakande and Michael Otedola.
