The Legislative Arm of EGBE-IDIMU Local Council Development Area under the leadership of Hon Taiwo Lasisi, Wednesday, held a Prayer Session as a curtain raiser to legislative business for the year.
The Prayer Session had The Executive Chairman, Hon Kunle Sanyaolu, Head of Administration, Mr Tunde Ojikutu, some members of the Management Staff, Clerk of the House and other stakeholders in attendance.
Hon Lasisi in his address thanked everyone in attendance and revealed that the prayers became necessary before hitting the ground for other year because it’s an opportunity to appreciate the Almighty for how much the Council had achieved since it came into office last year, and further pray for wisdom and knowledge to lead right in years to come.
Reacting, the Executive Chairman, Hon Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo, appreciated the Council Law Makers for their cooperation towards his Administration which have been aiding smooth Intergovernmental Relations and ultimately good governance.
He also solicited for the continued support of the law makers in the new year, noting that they play key role in the overall performance of the Executive arm of government.
