A dramatic scene played out along Irhirhi Road in Edo State after a man confronted police officers who allegedly damaged his car while chasing him.
Witnesses said the officers, who were driving a minibus, rammed into the man’s vehicle from behind in an attempt to stop him. The impact reportedly damaged the car’s bumper.

Rather than addressing the situation, the officers allegedly attempted to flee the scene. The driver, however, pursued them and managed to block their vehicle, forcing a confrontation.
The standoff drew the attention of passersby, though details of what followed remain unclear as of the time of filing this report.
Authorities have yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
