A Nigerian mother has opened up about the heartbreaking experience that turned her life upside down after her one-year-old son developed cerebral palsy during a supposed deliverance session at her husband’s church.
In a viral video, the woman recounted how what began as a routine prayer session quickly turned into a tragedy she never imagined.
According to her, the pastor suddenly declared that her son, who was just a year and four months old at the time, had “a big star” and was “chained by the enemy.”
The pastor, she said, insisted that a deliverance must be carried out immediately. During the process, he reportedly turned the little boy upside down and that moment, according to the mother, changed everything.

She narrated that her son began convulsing right after the act, suffering repeated seizures that eventually led to brain damage. Doctors later diagnosed him with cerebral palsy.
Fighting back tears, the mother said her life has never been the same since that day.
She explained that caring for her son has been emotionally, physically, and financially draining.
To make matters worse, she revealed that her husband who was an active member of the same church abandoned them when their child turned two years old.
When asked if he remarried, the distraught woman said she heard he already has another wife and has since moved on with his life.
Despite the pain and challenges, she said she continues to care for her son alone, holding on to hope that one day things will get better.
