Dangote refinery offers credit facility to oil marketers

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has introduced a credit facility for oil marketers and announced that its free delivery of petroleum products will begin soon.

In a notice posted on Dangote Group’s official X account on Saturday, the refinery said both existing and new customers can now purchase a minimum of 250,000 litres, reduced from the previous requirement of 500,000 litres.

The company also said oil marketers can access a 10-day credit facility, provided it is backed by a bank guarantee.

It wrote, “All existing and new customers can now purchase 250,000 litres with the benefit of a 10-day credit facility backed with a bank guarantee.

Free delivery to your stations starting soon!”

Also,the company invited “petrol station owners and dealers” to register their outlets to benefit from the new pricing.

“This offer is available to all petrol station owners and dealers nationwide. Our free direct delivery service will commence soon,” the refinery said.

Recall in December 2025, Aliko Dangote, president of the Dangote Group, said his refinery would continue to reduce petrol prices to remain competitive with imported products.

On December 12, the refinery reduced the ex-gantry price of petrol to N699 per litre, down from N828, representing a N129 cut.
