According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo is upset about having to accept a wage cut of 25% as a result of Manchester United missing out on a Champions League spot.
After the club’s terrible season, the 37-year-old made it known early this summer that he intended to quit the team in quest of Champions League football.
After scoring 18 goals in the Premier League last season, Ronaldo reportedly expressed his ire at having to accept the pay drop that was stipulated in his contract, according to The Sunday Times.

Ronaldo reportedly made a U-turn on a move to Manchester City in favour of joining United last summer, selling himself on the idea of winning the Premier League championship with them.
Despite what his contract stated, it is speculated that Ronaldo had done admirably enough for him to believe he shouldn’t be penalised for United’s shortcomings.
According to reports, Ten Hag is now prepared to let Ronaldo to leave the team, and the Glazers are on board and ready to bear the financial costs of his departure.
Numerous teams, including Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Sporting Lisbon, Napoli, and an unknown club in Saudi Arabia, have been associated with Ronaldo.
