A corps member was given a two-year prison sentence for computer fraud offenses by the Kwara State High Court in Ilorin.
Adetuberu The Lorin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission brought Christopher Adetoyese, who is presently stationed in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, before the court on Thursday, August 11. (EFCC).
The anti-graft organization filed two counts against him, and he was found guilty on both.
When Adetuberu was sentenced, the presiding judge, Ibrahim Yusuf, ordered the seizure of a three-bedroom apartment bought with the profits of the criminal acts.

Other things surrendered include a Lexus automobile, various phone brands, a laptop, and the amount of N921, 535.49 in his bank account, which was paid to the federal government.
Although he stated that the criminal’s conviction will serve as a deterrent to others, he did offer the convict the option of paying a fine of N200,000.
Adetuberu, a native of Ilesha, Ilesha West Local Government Area of Osun, was detained at Eyenkorin, Ilorin’s Ogele neighborhood.
During the course of the investigation, the convict disclosed that he entered “Yahoo Yahoo Business” in 2016 and, among other things, used the money to build a house.
